Marketing Representative (South Alabama)

Summary: Sells insurance to new and current clients by performing the following duties.  

 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 


  • Responsible for sales production through Insurance Agents in assigned territory.


  • Develops growth opportunities with current and new agencies through strong execution of sales, marketing, relationship building, customer service and product knowledge.


  • Provides ongoing feedback on business market opportunities, obstacles and competitor activity.


  • Proactively responds to issues and problems that affect business production.


  • Participates in conventions, social activities and business functions.


  • Provides weekly quote follow-ups (Audit, Renewals)


  • Submits weekly marketing reports to Marketing Manager.


Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; 

3-5 years’ commercial insurance experience required.  

Marketing experience preferred.
