Receptionist/Accounting Assistant
This position is responsible for greeting visitors, assessing their needs, and directing them accordingly. This role also performs accounting support tasks within acceptable accounting principles and practices. This person will be accountable to the Finance Leader. Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Greet visitors, determine their needs, check appointments and direct them to the proper person.
- Receive all incoming telephone calls to the agency and refer appropriately.
- Answer questions and provide general information to visitors and callers.
- Distribute incoming mail to agency personnel. Assist in collecting outgoing mail and prepare to send.
- Assist accounting department in assignments as needed.
- Assists with reconciling direct bill commissions received from insurance companies.
- Orders office supplies.
- Perform other clerical and job-related duties as required.
